Flower Dancers was inspired by a garden in my neighborhood, and a challenge to create an art piece only using pink, green, white and black.
I took a picture of pumpkins in a farm house in Pennsylvania last fall on a road trip. It is wonderful to come across this treasures on trips. They make for fun art!
Spring inspires creativity specially when it offering an array of subjects that entices the creative spirit.
So far 2016 has been an exciting new year.
It began with “Nature’s Orchestra” (above) winning first prize in the Cary Art Center’s Instructor’s Exhibit: “Synesthesia – Connecting the Senses.”
“Pink and Lavender” Received an Honorable Mention from the Fine Art League of Cary 20th Annual Juried Art Exhibition 2015.
